And you will need glitter, fishing line and either elmers glue or modpodge!Okay,Stamp your fairy.Cut her out carefully...but leave a little edge aroundthe black lines, you will hardly be able to tell anyway.
Punch or cut a oblong hole in the top. When it melts, it will melt down the hole as well. Color your fairy with colored pencils on the rough side of the plastic.Okay, so you CAN use Copics!(obviously not for a little girl birthday party)Check these out!I had to use some pretty vibrant colors--and they bleed a little... Put your fairy on a baking sheet, rough or colored side up!Bake 2-5 minutes at 375*The plastic will curl up! Don't panic. It will uncurl when it is done melting.Kids LOVE to watch the melting process! They cool off pretty quickly.Take your fairy, tie some fishing line to her...(I doubled it here, but a single line works best)and tape her inside the lid, Try your best to get her to hang down the center. Then paint some glue inside your jar andswirl some glitter inside.The glitter will stick everywhere there is glue, so don'tcompletely cover the inside or you wont see the fairy!And Presto!A Magical wishing fairy!
